Ramon H. Hall

Having grown up in Wyoming, I am one of the fortunate few that used to work at a place that I love spending most of my time – the mountains. I consider myself a full-time part-timer mountain guide. Backcountry camping at Laramie, Wyoming, is probably my most favorite thing to do.
There is an abundance of backpacking opportunities in the place where I grew up. Want to go on a hike? Take the Snowy Range Mountains, for example. Having spent so much time, I think I'm the right guy to talk to if you want to learn about hiking. My years of travel has taken me to places that I lost count of.
For this site, I mostly write about hiking, camping, and backpacking gear. You will also see plenty of outdoor gear reviews as well. That's not all. I'll also be sharing my personal hiking and backpacking trips to keeps things ethical, unbiased, and real. Stay tuned as I share with you some of the best camping stories of my life.
